Dr Sierz is the author of the seminal book In-Yer-Face Theatre: British Drama Today published by Faber & Faber in 2001; The Theatre of Martin Crimp, Methuen 2006, (second edition Bloomsbury 2013); John Osborne’s Look Back in Anger London: Continuum, 2008; Rewriting the Nation: British Theatre Today, Methuen 2011; and The Decades of Modern British Playwriting: The 1990s, Bloomsbury, 2012. He is the editor of The Methuen Drama Book of 21st Century British Plays and co-editor of The Methuen Drama Guide to Contemporary British Playwrights, 2011. He edits theatreVOICE, an online audio platform of interviews with playwrights, directors, actors, designers involved in current London productions, which has an extensive archive housed by the Victoria & Albert Museum; and contributes with other leading cultural commentators to The Arts Desk. He works also as a journalist, broadcaster, lecturer and theatre critic. He has taught regularly at the College since 2003 on the MAs in Theatre Practices and Ensemble Theatre, and on the American Theatre Arts, Acting and Actor Musician Programmes; and is an important contributor to the annual symposium. www.sierz.co.uk
