The Unfinished Histories Project is proud to present an exhibition of posters and artefacts from the Noel Greig Archive at the Unicorn Theatre in October. The exhibition will accompany the Tangere Arts and Unicorn Theatre Co-production of Noel’s play Tin Soldier, which runs at the Unicorn Theatre from the 27th to the 31st of October 2010 (for ages 7+).
The contents of the exhibition will be drawn from the Unfinished Histories Performing Revolutions exhibition held in April 2010 at Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance, and will also include material from our two interviews with him. Examples of Exhibition material includes posters for Guerrilla Theatre in the 1960s at Birmingham University, flyers for Sexual Outlaws at the Oval House in 1980, material on Noel Greig’s delicious spoof company Red Bucket, and flyers for his late work with Contacting the World.
Rose Bruford College is privileged to house an archive of Noel Greig’s work, which includes scripts, reviews, publicity material, video recordings and other research materials. Access for researchers is available on request. Please contact the College Librarian for further details: [email protected].
