Music on Stage International Conference is held biennially, organised by Dr Jane Schopf, Programme Director of Opera Studies by Distance Learning. An edition of Studies in Musical Theatre published by Intellect Press was devoted to papers from Music on Stage 3, 2008; and the outcomes of Music on Stage 4, 2012, will be published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing in 2014; the 5th International Music on Stage Conference will take place in October 2014, the papers from which will be published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing in 2015.
