Forthcoming Events
October
Black History Month: As we celebrate Black History Month, our SU Cultural and Diversity Officer Palesa has various events planned for every Wednesday of October. Palesa begins the month on the 7th with the Cultural Diversity Forum including guest speakers.
National Poetry Day: A group of 15 acting students will be performing poetry at Bexley Central Library 8th October 2-5pm to contribute to this day and share poetry with the local community.
Higher Education/Career Fairs: Student Ambassadors will be representing Rose Bruford College at the following:
- St Catherine’s Catholic School, Bexley 15th October
- Lewisham College, 21st October
Open Days: We have two open days this month - 15th (School of Performance) and 29th (School of Design, Management and Technical Arts)
November
NYT workshop: We will be sending a performance graduate to work with students on the NYT’s playing up course; in turn this will provide them with access to Higher Education and paths they may have not yet considered.
Q workshops: This month will see the launch of the Q workshops. A series of theatre-related workshops aimed at schools and FE Colleges, with the option of a campus tour and/or matinee performance.
Open Days: We have two open days this month - 12th (School of Performance) and 26th (School of Design, Management and Technical Arts)
December
Theatrecraft - Masterclass: The college will be exhibiting at this event, to be held 2nd December 9.30am - 4.30pm at the London Coliseum.
2010
Roadshows: We are currently in the process of confirming road show dates with our Regional Partners.
Changing Curriculum Forum: The dates for 2010 are 15th & 16th April.
Rokeya Project: The project is ongoing and those involved are currently contemplating taking the project to Universities near Kolkata in West Bengal!
