Until now, there has been no peer-reviewed outlet for the wide dissemination of scholarly research into opera, musicals and performance to allows for multimedia presentation, the reproduction of coloured music scores, sound files, performance videos and other mixed media.

Opera Notes changes all that.

Graced by the expertise of our distinguished international editorial board, we warmly welcome English language articles of the highest scholarly standards in areas including, but not limited to aspects of opera history, analytical musicology, women in opera, performance studies and opera dramaturgy.
