Performance Prompt
Performance Prompt is published and maintained by the Research Office at Rose Bruford College (RBC). It is an occasional online publication presenting essays, articles and other critical writings by practitioners and critics working in the theatre industry today.
Performance Prompt offers an opportunity for academics, theatre practitioners and journalists to discuss key issues in contemporary theatre and performance. These brief but topical articles, news items, debates and polemics aim to inform and provoke.
The Sidcup Papers
The Sidcup Papers are occasional scholarly writings addressing issues of import, in a broadly based theatre context.
New Theatre Quarterly
The scholarly journal New Theatre Quarterly is published by Cambridge University Press and was co-founded by Rose Bruford College Professor Emeritus Simon Trussler. It provides a vital international forum where theatrical scholarship and practice can meet and where prevailing dramatic assumptions can be subjected to vigorous critical questioning. It shows that theatre history has a contemporary relevance, that theatre studies need a methodology and that theatre criticism needs a language. The journal publishes news, analysis and debate within the field of theatre studies. Visit the NTQ Cambridge Journals website »
